The National Lottery: Home

BRMB: "Catch the Studio Action Live
You see exactly what our DJs and their celebrity guests get up to in the studio, by watching them live on our studio webcam."

so I telephoned Tim Lichfield on * BMRB 96.4 BRMB Request Line: 0121 250 0964
and had a brief chat and asked him to turn for 10 seconds to face the web-cam so that we could see his face. So he struck a daft pose !!!

He invited me on air so, I sent greetings to my daughters in Copenhagen and Nottingham or maybe at home with her mum in Stoke, and to all my writing friends in Solihull and Brum.

He was on when the earthquake hit Dudley and rocked this house

Google Groups: View Thread "Earthquake": "Yes the flats rocked in B37
a tremor rather than a quake

BRMB said up to Walsall also

the whole house moved and swung backwards and forwards about twice
seventh floor and scary
my heart beat very fast

I got half dressed - too much imagination was this house going to do a Ronan Point ??

No gas cookers here

It felt as if the house had been hit by a truck so looked out of windows 3 sides and got a neighbour to look out the fourth

we are close to the airport flight path so I looked for flames in the sky
quiet in all directions
no blue blink either"

BTW XMAS lunch one hour after the last a-b pill
tuna fish in olive oil on a large mixed salad
of celery, lettuce, 5 spring onions, cauliflower florets, 2 carrots, a splash of french cider vinegar and a dab of ready made coleslaw - 10p marked down. a slice of fresh brown bread.

As a starter I ate three-quarters of an orange, I reserved the last quarter for an experimental cup of tea . . instead of lemon - like russian tea. Success.

For afters coffee, skimmed milk no sugar of course and another slice of brown bread and a corner of STILTON cheese - no port this time :-((

the site conceived in Randers May 26 2003 is becoming usable at last, which time spent is the reason for the recent blog free days.

< < Sandwiched in between the Space Museum and the Star Ferry concourse, the Hong Kong Cultural Centre is the territory's largest arena for the arts.

Opened in 1989, this complex is a good bet for free music and events, including family shows on Saturday afternoon from 2:30 to 4:30pm that may include Chinese dance, a magic show, or music. Pick up a monthly leaflet of events at the Centre. < <

BEYOND NORTHERN IRAQ: STUHUGHESIRAQ@MAIL.COM: "Were he alive today, Aesop would doubtlessly have appreciated the moral undertones in the news story that Princess Anne's dog has bitten and killed the Queen's beloved corgi, Pharos.

The Royal Family has begun devouring itself.

Princess Anne's English bull terrier, Dotty, is turning into something of a recidivist."

and Stuart Hughes has just earned himself a place in my odd blogs side bar in HUGH's BLOOG

The inhabitants of South-Schleswig on 13. February 1803 = AGGSH e.V. database: "The inhabitants of the duchy of Schleswig on the 13.February of the year 1803
This database is built by the transcriptions of the census 1803 of the southern part of the duchy of Schleswig,
and corrected and replaced by the informations of the church books (see the note).
Our member Johannes Witt in Kiel worked on this several years. "

sounds curious to me - a transcription should be warts and all

Guardian Unlimited | The Guardian | Baghdad Blogger: "It kind of reminded me of the time when I would get in a taxi a year ago and get the fright of my life because the driver had a tape of a sermon by Shia clerics on. The 'correct' thing to do was to ask the driver to turn it off, you know, just in case the driver was actually secret police and this was a test. Yes, paranoia ruled."

But a taxi driver has to be a chameleon to survive on the street
