Freemasons catalogue in London

The Library and Museum of Freemasonry has a large collection and the catalogue will not be a complete record for many years. If you do not find a catalogue reference to the material in which you are interested please contact Library and Museum staff who will be pleased to help.

SITUATION REPORT: The main library catalogue has been computerised, however, the collection of ritual material is not yet available on this catalogue. From the museum collection we are currently cataloguing our substantial jewel collection.

Archives catalogued to date includes correspondence between 1750 and 1820, the returns submitted by the Antients and Moderns Grand Lodges prior to the Union in 1813 and material relating to the building of Freemasons' Hall from 1768-1880.

Home Page: The Library and Museum of Freemasonry: "The Library and Museum of Freemasonry is a registered museum housing one of the finest publicly available collections of Masonic material in the world."

I once played a bassoon solo in there, after the Loyal Toast and speeches, at a dinner in honour of Field Marshall Montgomery
